This morning was spent at a fascinating open house at a science institute in Taipei and then we traveled south and ended the day at a retreat center in the central part of the country.  Click here for photos from the day.

 

This day started at the Maryknoll house and then after lunch I went to the Wong house and son Dominique and I bicycled along the river before meeting Henry and going to dinner.  Click here for colorful photos from the day.

This morning we gathered to pray and had breakfast, and then guys started returning to their mission countries all over Asia.  I went to the Maryknoll house in Taipei and worked there until evening when I met a friend who showed me some of the sights of Taipei by night.  Click here for some pictures from the day.

 

Today was the second and last full day of the meetings of the Maryknoll Society in Asia.  Click here to see pictures from the different parts of the day.

In all the running around and trying to get online, I found today that I had not copied all my photos from my camera to my laptop for use on this website.  I’ll try to sort it out tomorrow from Phnom Penh—it’s too late tonight in Taipei.   But in the meanwhile I’ll throw in an extra photo from Saturday, 20 October.  When I was leaving Maryknoll, New York, I had my camera packed away when I found the Ossining Fire Department practicing with their ladder truck on the seminary building.  I grabbed this photo with my phone but then forgot to include it when posting photos for that day.

 

This was the first full day of our Maryknoll Asia meeting, held at a hotel in Taoyuan, Taiwan near the airport.  Click here for scenes from the gathering.

We finished our MKLM board meetings Saturday morning and then at 1:30 AM Sunday I left NYC for Taiwan.  Click here for photos from that trip.

 

Today from morning to night was the official board meeting of the MKLM board of directors.  Click here to see the different activities.
