Because it fell on a Saturday, our Easter Vigil service was held at our usual Saturday night venue at the World Vision auditorium. Fr. Bob Wynne did a good job of decorating for tonight.Our choir also put in many hours of practice and playing for the Holy Week services.Here I have just lighted the new fire for then lighting the large Easter Candle.The Easter Candle is brought in procession to place beside the lectern where the scriptures are read.Sr. Regina Pellicore was one of the two lectors proclaiming the Old Testament scriptures.The congregation holding LED candles during the renewal of baptismal promises.Sprinkling the congregation with the water just blessed for use in baptisms throughout the year.
