This week (October 2-6) the Asia Region of the Maryknoll Society (the priests and brothers) is having a meeting in Taoyung, Taiwan for all the Asia members.

• Tuesday (October 3) — First Meeting Day

Tomorrow (Sunday) morning I have a 10:00 AM mass and after that I head for the airport for a flight to Taiwan for a Maryknoll meeting. I don’t know what the wi-fi situation will be there when I arrive late at night so I may not be able to post on Sunday (at least not on OUR Sunday).

I spent the morning at BNH Hospital, then had lunch with a refugee, and then headed to the airport for the evening flight back home. Click here for a little more description.

This day was mainly spent in BNH Hospital. The different tests would make for fascinating photos but it’s rather difficult to be the subject of the tests and to be taking pictures of what’s going on. And the hospital rules wouldn’t allow it anyway. Click here for a few visuals from the day.
