Today I went to mass with family I was staying with and then they took me to some areas of London that I had never seen before. At the end of the day we ended up in an international restaurant with a buffet from around the world.

After breakfast, we left for early for church and had a chance to see the Thames River near their home on the east side of London.
Michael and Lang and Elaine are members of Our Lady of Grace Church where Elaine is an altar server.
After mass we a wonderful tour of various sites. The first stop was the Greenwich Observatory, known to me from my ham radio days when I started using GMT (Greenwich Mean Time). This is the prime meridian from which all latitude is calculated around the world.
The observatory is on a hill overlooking London. Lang became a British citizen in a naturalization ceremony in the large building behind and below us.
From there we walked down the hill and past a multitude of historic and interesting sites. I would love to go back and spend a half day at each one. This is the sailing vessel Cutty Sark.
