Fr. Jim Noonan died at Maryknoll, New York in early May. Yesterday, 2 June 2018, we had a memorial service for him in Phnom Penh. Jim lived and worked here for eighteen years and many, many people still lovingly remember him because of the work that he did, especially with people and families affected by HIV/AIDS. Here are some photos from yesterday’s service. On the altar were Bishop Olivier of Phnom Penh, Bishop Antony from Kampong Cham, Fr. Peter from the Vietnamese community, and Fr. Kevin Conroy and Fr. Charlie Dittmeier from Maryknoll. Charlie gave the homily.
