Traffic Rules:

Taillights

One of the curses of the incompetency of the Cambodian government is the lack of traffic rules and enforcement. They speak about it in conferences and when some country donates money for traffic safety but little is done. A good example is the way taillights are “decorated” in such a way that they are basically useless. It may be a moot question because probably a third of Cambodian vehicles don’t have fully functioning head and taillights and turn signals. It is considered normal to drive without lights at night.
