All-purpose platforms

Large wooden platforms play a unique role in Cambodian culture.  They are set under the houses on stilts (the area where people live), they are used as beds and tables and work benches.  They seem to be the all-purpose piece of furniture.  Here are some pictures of platforms:

These platforms are still in process. The assembly and carving is finished and they now await a high-gloss finish.
