Today was a day for running around. I worked at my cousin’s house in the morning. She is an interior designer and this is a formal living room in her home which I turned into my office. Quite a bit different from my work space in Phnom Penh!
For lunch I went to visit three retired priest friends who live in the old Bishop David High School faculty house which is now a retirement home. I lived there until I went to India in 1983. On the way there I drove past the parish where I started when I was first ordained, the parish where I was assigned after I returned from India, and the old high school where I used to teach. After lunch I went to vote early in the presidential election and then to visit my Aunt Mary at the St. Joseph Home run by the Little Sisters of the Poor.
