Hua Hin 2019 / January 9

Today was the second day of retreat and Larry Lewis continued with his presentations that really caused one to think.

The Salesian community works with youth throughout the world, following the charism of their founder Don Bosco (pictured in the statue above). The retreat house is located on the same campus with a huge Salesian school.
In announcements before the first talk, Sr. Regina pointed out a recent article that in three places identified Fr. Kevin Conroy (standing) as the founder of Maryknoll. Kevin gratefully accepted the congratulations of the group.

At the morning break time, Brother Tim Raible tried out some delicious pastries.
In the last part of the morning session, Larry led a discussion about the movie “Rider” we watched last night. Here Joe Thaler makes a point with Larry.
