Diocesan Youth Day

Bishop Olivier is a very creative and energetic bishop. He always has something going on, and particularly now during the pandemic has been working hard to stay in touch with the flock and keep the sheep together. As part of those endeavors, this weekend he had an online youth day that was quite good.

The last time I checked in there were 68 centers and groups logged in, and some of those centers had fairly large groups.
Two energetic emcees worked hard at keeping the disparate groups connected and involved with the program.
There were dances and activities that participants “out there” could copy and feel they were participating, especially when seeing themselves and the other groups moving together on the screen (on the left).
Prayer sessions were an important part of the program.
And keeping it all together was Bishop Olivier’s tech team working seven laptops to feed the streaming signal.
