Our English mass for Christmas Day was at St. Joseph Church at 10:00 AM. We had quite a few visitors but surprisingly, the total number of people attending was maybe even a bit less than an average Sunday.
This year we had a new crew decorating the sanctuary and church for Christmas and they did a very good job.Honoring the Book of the Gospels before proclaiming the Christmas story in Luke’s account of what happened in Bethlehem.I like to move around in the church while preaching. That almost wasn’t possible today because our body mic stopped working, but then at the last minute it revived and I was able to walk the main aisle and show a picture to illustrate a point.We had many visitors and filled the hall but had fewer people standing in back than usual.
