Day 4
7 March 2007

Friends Across Borders (FAB) is a program of the Maryknoll Lay Missioners bringing people to mission areas to help them understand the realities of mission countries and mission work. This is the first time an FAB trip has come to Cambodia.

The Friends Across Borders group finished another busy day at the Maryknoll office where Maryknoll Cambodia has a weekly meeting every Wednesday afternoon. Our guests came bearing gifts they brought with them from the US for various Maryknoll projects.
In order to get to know the Maryknoll members here in Cambodia as well as their projects, the FAB participants met in small groups with some of the Maryknollers. Clockwise from left: Roberta McLaughlin, Deborah Thompson, Lisa Pirie, Regina Pellicore, Virginia Wong, Dave Saumweber, Jim Noonan, and Lorraine McDermott.
Clockwise from left: Bob Wynne, Bernadette Duggan, Adel O'Regan, Celina Campas, Judy Saumweber, Dave Loretan, and Ann Loretan.
Clockwise from left: Luise Ahrens, Ed McGovern, Doy Castro, Beverly Bailey, Bill Bailey, and Julia Mullen.
Clockwise from left: Tom McDermott, Margo O'Dell, Mary Little, and Dave Gilmour.
The FAB participants carried a LOT of resource materials to Cambodia to be used in the Maryknoll projects here. In this photo Beverly displays a solar cooker which will be ideal for some of the resettlement areas.

Kevin Conroy was presider for the liturgy we had in the meeting room after the Maryknoll business was completed and our FAB guests had been welcomed.
