Travel Days

The Maryknoll priests and brothers in Asia have regular meetings and the regional meeting this year is at the Maryknoll House in Stanley in Hong Kong from 16-20 May 2016. There is the usual business to attend to, especially after the chapter meeting last year, but every two years now all priests are required to participate in anti-sex abuse training and that will be part of this gathering also.

Today was mostly spent in traveling. I tried to get my glasses repaired this morning in Phnom Penh but the optometrist NGO didn't open at 8:00 AM as scheduled so I went on to DDP for the staff meeting and then headed to the airport at 9:30 AM. I had a nonstop Dragonair flight to Hong Kong that arrived at 3:00 PM and then I took the Airport Express and a taxi to Stanley. This is a view from the Maryknoll House looking north toward the Hong Kong city area on the other side of the ridge.
