The home where the Cathers lived from 1884-1904. Willa described it in The Song of the Lark: "They turned into another street and saw before them lighted windows, a low storey-and-a-half house with a wing built on at the right and a kitchen addition at the back, everything a little on the slant--roof, windows, and doors."
Willa's room was the one upstairs on the north (under the right peak in this photo), and the wall paper she put up, with small red and brown roses, is still there.
