He visited the Deaf Development Program to meet us because we will be working in a Nippon-funded project in Cambodia to develop sign language dictionaries based on conversational vocabulary.
Charlie Dittmeier introducing Mr. Ohno to the students at DDP The Nippon Foundation is one of the world's largest donor groups although not as well known as the Ford and Rockefeller foundations and other funding groups. Here Mr. Ohno visits one of the classrooms at the DDP office in Phnom Penh and is introduced to the students by Charlie Dittmeier.
