Wednesday
A residence on the church property
There are eight or ten buildings on the church property. This is a separate building, not often used, where groups can stay overnight. Now larger facilities in other buildings have made this one less useful.

A gazebo overlooking the harbor
For retreats and programs with a variety of activities, there are several gazebos around the buildings, like this one overlooking the harbor below.

Flowers around the church
The church and retreat center is not fancy but it is well kept and a lot of attention has been given to small details like flowers and fountains.

Extra kitchen help
Fr. Francois-Xavier Desmont pitched in to help the kitchen ladies prepare some of the vegetables for the next meal.

Fr. Louis
Father Louis, in one of his two talks today focusing on prayer.

The Battambang diocese at liturgy
Today the Battambang diocese was responsible for planning and leading the morning and evening prayers and the late morning liturgy. Here the priests from Battambang gather around the altar at the beginning of mass.

Planning the reconciliation service
Fr. Louis asked several of the retreatants to help in planning and leading the special reconciliation service held after supper.

Distributing ashes
Symbols of water, ashes, and fire were used in the reconciliation service. Here the ashes are distributed to each participant.
