This was the fourth and final full day of retreat. The schedule varied in that we had supper at the Don Bosco Hotel School, and some of the priests who live at the other end of the country left in the afternoon to get back to their home bases in time for the weekend. |

At morning prayer, Fr. Girard Vogin from the Kampong Cham Diocese adopted a prayerful position in the church. |
In the morning talk, Fr. Louis invited Fr. Dos to come to the front to help him illustrate a point. |
For the liturgy today, it was again Phnom Penh priests, with Bishop Olivier, but a more senior group than yesterday's presiders. |
At lunch, because this was the last big meal we would be eating together at the retreat center, Bishop Olivier thanked all the kitchen staff and gave them gifts for their service. |
A major building in the church compound, next to and behind the church, is the rectory which also contains a parish office. Now three priests live there for community rather than living alone in isolated villages. |
The retreat center has this small pentagonal chapel used by many groups, but because our group was so large, this small chapel was just used by individuals for private prayer times. |
At the end of the second talk today, after Fr. Louis had added some tips on physical exercise to his theological ideas, Bishop Olivier presented him with a gift of a Khmer wooden chalice. |
Then it was time to transport all the group to the Don Bosco Hotel School where we were to have supper. |
The Don Bosco Hotel School is a fully functioning hotel where students learn the skills of the hospitality and food service industries. Students from this school are well prepared for actual jobs when they complete their training. |
A new touch this year was a live music ensemble, four students who played violin and guitars and sang throughout the evening. They were quite good. |
At the end of the meal Bishop Olivier was once again called on to offer thanks, this time to the students and staff of the hotel school who did a really wonderful job of welcoming and feeding us. |
