Besides My Antonia, Cather utilizes the depot also in The Night Express and in The Sculptor's Funeral, and the station and the Burlington Railroad often appear as background in Cather's writings.  The historical society has placed the coffin in the depot as it is described in The Sculptor's Funeral.
