Funeral Day
This morning Ray Browne's funeral was celebrated at 10:00 AM in the chapel of St. Aloysius Church in Pewee Valley. It was a happy coincidence that I was in town and was able to be the priest celebrant. A grand-daughter, Emily, read the first scripture reading. Burial was in the parish cemetery, and then the family gathered at the home of Ray's widow, Geneva Browne.
