When we awoke on Thanksgiving morning, there was a light dusting of snow over Louisville. There was none on the streets, however, and by late afternoon it was mostly gone from the grass, too.

Because most of the brothers and sisters were spending Thanksgiving Day with in-laws, the Dittmeier siblings planned to get together the day after. I went to Cincinnati to be with my sister Martha and her husband Mark Reed and their three sons, seen here preparing for dessert after a wonderful turkey dinner.
