Louisville—Day 3 & 4I got a few smaller tasks done these days, in addition to the main focus of visiting some of my friends and family. |
This morning brother-in-law Mike Davis (super good guy) was having breakfast with Barney the dog. Barney is getting really old and unsteady. After leaving them, I visited another brother-in-law's mother and bought some things at a church goods store. |
At lunch time I met Fr. Tony Olges, a classmate, and we ate together and then he showed me the new developments at the Riverfront Park Louisville has developed. This is a winding walkway leading up to an old railroad bridge which is now a pedestrian-only passage across the Ohio River. |
Another new development along the riverfront is a new bridge going up parallel to the Kennedy Bridge which carries I-65 across the Ohio River into Indiana. |
The next day was a workday for the most part as I tried to catch up with e-mail and DDP tasks, but in the evening I had dinner with Fr. Joe Graffis, another friend from St. Thomas Seminary. |
