At MaryknollToday was basically a free day for me. I met with the Maryknoll Lay Missioners leadership in the morning for a quick catch-up session and then the rest of the day moved around the Maryknoll campus to meet various people. |
After meeting about Cambodia at the Walsh Building, I walked across the street to the old seminary building to buy a book, discuss the renewal of my associate priest contract, and say hello to friends. This is the chapel wing of the main building. |

Across a little service road from the seminary building is the Walsh Building, the new home of the Maryknoll Lay Missioners. It is surrounded by huge old trees and most of the year a photo like this is not possible. It's only in winter and early spring that the trees are bare enough for the building to be seen. |

This is Sr. Regina Pellicore, the treasurer of the Maryknoll Sisters. I visited their campus when I left the priests' side of the road to check and see if Regina is still planning to return to Cambodia when her treasurer term is completed. She is! |

By evening most of the members of the Board of Directors of the Maryknoll Lay Missioners had arrived. We met first at the Potter House where three of us were staying, for supper and to catch up since our last meeting. Here Sam Stanton (L), Kathy Bond, and Ian Bautista get to know each other. This was the first board meeting for Ian who has just joined us. |
