Today was spent with two of my sisters, Ann in Louisville and Martha in Cincinnati. |
I'm staying with my cousin Judith English and she and her husband have something of a colonial federalist touch in the living room. An antique wooden desk there is complete with writing quill and ink pots which contrast with my netbook.

- After working at my cousin's house during the morning, I went to meet my sister Ann for lunch. It was good to catch up with her for an hour or so.
- Then I headed for Cincinnati to visit my sister Martha and her family. I thought I knew the way but just to be sure I printed out directions to Oak Court on Google Maps. Unfortunately I didn't put the address into the search, just the name of the street, and it turned out there were two Oak Courts and Google sent me to the wrong one. A two-hour trip turned into a four-hour trip.

Martha and her husband Mark have four teenage children who are a delight. My visit with them was shorter than planned but was very enjoyable. They are a very generous and loving family.
