Today was my one full day in Kentucky and I spent a good part of it visiting old friends and family.

Fr. Timmel worked with the deaf people in the Archdiocese of Louisville and handed on the work to me. Frs. Al Wilson and Fr. Don Ryan are good friends from long ago. They are all three officially retired but still active in different ministries. Fr. Tony Olges is a classmate and now the pastor of St. James Church in Louisville.
