Today was the actual board meeting. Most of the members arrived last night so that we were prepared for a full day of meetings.

The first order of business this morning was an opening liturgy with the board members and many of the Walsh Building staff. Fr. Bill Vos presided.

As we left the new chapel, we took a tour of the offices and facilities of the newly renovated Walsh Building. Here Debbie Northern explains the Mission Services Department layout to Mark Wittenberg, Mike Wrob, and Tom Healey.

One of the first presentations in the actual meeting sessions was by Ana Rodrigues, the head of the Finance Department.

To help the board members learn more about the larger Maryknoll, our lunch was scheduled in the seminary buildiing where we could eat with and meet some of the Maryknoll priests and brothers.

In an afternoon session, Marj Humphrey, Sarah Welch, Kathy Bond, and Tom Healey look over one of the handouts about the Advancement Department.

Another educational part of the program was a meeting with some of the Society leadership who explained the current state of the Society and the initiatives they are now involved in.

back at the Walsh Building, we continued our deliberations and this time Joe Regotti, the head of the Mission Services Department, explained about our present membership as Margo Cambier, Dave Dreiling, and Sarah Welch listened.

By the time we finished our meetings, it was dusk and the lights started to come on in the tower of the seminary building.
