Global Council—Day 7

Today was the last day of the Global Council and we dealt with several agenda items and then celebrated the end with an evening together.

In the morning the candidates and the Global Council participatns and many of the Bethany staff gathered in the chapel for prayer together.

First Ellen Pierce spoke to us about the archives and the procedures for submitting materials, and then the group devoted the rest of the morning to a discussion of the organizational identity of MKLM.

In the evening, in a tradition started by Margo and Erik Cambier in years past, we went to Debbie Northern's house for a simple meal of Chinese take-out and a lot of talking.
