Global Council—Day 3Today was the third day of the Global Council and it was given entirely to working with Russell Disberger, an organizational consultant who helped he leadership identify and clarify their goals and the means to achieve them. |
the day began again with morning prayer in the chapel and before it began Margo Cambier chatted with Dorothy Hebrank, Michael Royston, and Joanne Miya as Barb Banovich and Eileen Velicky walked past in the background. |
The work with Russell Disberger was very productive. He led us from one major point to another in a fast-paced presentation that was very informative and laid the basis for more effective work and a strengthening of the organization. |
The sun came out today and highlighted the first touches of autumn that are appearing around the Bethany building. |
The Global Council group went to the Maryknoll Society campus for lunch where their seminary building stands in bold contrast to the old manor house that is the Bethany headquarters of the Maryknoll Lay Missioners. |
After lunch in the seminary dining room, Eileen Velicky couldn't decide which way to go. |
