I was able to get a fairly good night's sleep after the long trip from Phnom Penh and then made my usual rounds to all the Bethany offices this morning to say hello to the Maryknoll Lay Missioners staff. Then in the afternoon we had a meeting of all the small-group facilitators for the symposium that starts tomorrow.

After the late afternoon meeting for the small-group facilitators, I went over to the seminary chapel. In the sanctuary all these flags were arrayed to represent the countries where Maryknoll is now working.

Also in the chapel was the choir, having a practice session before the symposium starts tomorrow. Maryknoll takes its music seriously and there are usually several rehearsals and practices before a performance for an official event like the centennial symposium.
