Free Day — Day 8

Today was a semi-free day. The regional coordinators asked for one day of our time to be relatively free of meetings and other commitments so that we would have time to see various MKLM offices to take care of various business items. We didn't have any Global Council meetings but there were other tasks that ended up needing attention. Almost all the regional coordinators used the flexible schedule to set up meetings with the candidates that will be going to their regions.

Throughout the day the regional coordinators, the Bethany leadership, and some of the candidates were interviewed and videotaped in a project that will produce some promotional videos to help spread the message about the Maryknoll Lay Missioners. Here Larry Parr, the regional coordinator of El Salvador, takes his turn before the camera.

One of the landmarks of the Bethany campus, the city's water tower at the back of the property, changes its appearance according to time of day, the weather, and the seasons. Here the setting sun brings out a facet of its personality.

Two of the candidates in the MKLM class of 2012 are Greg and Kim Fischer. Here they play with their son Christopher as the sun gets near the evening horizon.
