St. Stanislaus Church sign
This last of my four church talks was in Pennsylvania, about thirty miles west of Philadelphia. St. Joseph Church and St. Stanislaus Church have just been merged into a new St. Joseph Parish and there were two masses at each site. In addition, there was a Spanish mass at a third site, St. Cecilia, and since Fr. Peter Welsh of the new St. Joseph Parish is coordinator of the Hispanic ministry, I was invited to speak at the Spanish mass also.

St. Stanislaus Church has been designated as a "worship site" of the new parish. It is an old Polish-founded community that now shares two priests with St. Joseph.

This is the inside of St. Cecilia Church where the Hispanic community has mass on Sundays. It is on the other side of Coatesville, about a mile and a half from St. Joseph Church, with St. Stanislaus Church in between them.

Fr. Peter Welsh is part of the clergy team with Msgr. John Oulds. Peter is in charge of Hispanic ministry in this part of the diocese, and here is locking up St. Cecilia Church after the noon mass on Sunday.
