Board of Directors Meeting

Day 2

  • Dave Kane caused a little excitement--not totally appreciated--this morning when he played reveille on his trumpet through the PA system of Bethany at 7:25 AM on a Saturday morning.  (It really is safe to come out of the boiler room now, Dave!)

  • The Board of Directors had a liturgy together to start the second day of their meetings, with Charlie Dittmeier as the presider.

The board meeting this morning was shorter than planned because some members had to make early flights to return home.  The first group to leave were Mike Wrob and Judy and Mike Noonan. They went to Westchester Country airport where Mike Wrob had left the plane he piloted here himself.

Next to leave, with Marci Winston driving, were Dave Cappellari and Dave Kane who went to the Ossining train station.

The final departures were Jason Obergfell and Mark Wittenberg whom Sam Stanton drove to the LaGuardia Airport.

  • In the afternoon, Charlie Dittmeier finished meeting individually with the three women—Dee Dungy, Catherine Hockman, and Maria Montello--who have been assigned to Cambodia.  They have now completed two weeks of orientation and have two more months to go before they fly to Cambodia in January.
