Trip to United States

20 September to 13 October 2011

30 September 2011 (Friday)

This second day of the MKLM Global Council was a really busy day. Yesterday we had reports from the regions around the world and today we had reports from the different departments of the MKLM administration to get an overview of the current situation of the organization. Then we ate lunch together with the Maryknoll Sisters and finally tonight the incoming candidates and the Global Council participants had a cookout.
This morning, after a presentation from the Finance Department, Margaret Cuccinello reported on the work of the Advancement Department. Margaret started as director of Advancement at the beginning of September.

Jason Obergfell, Dave Kane, and Charlie Dittmeier attended to the various reports given in the downstairs classroom at the Bethany building.

At lunch time, all the Global Council participants hurried to the Maryknoll Sisters Center where they enjoyed lunch with the sisters. It was also a good time to renew friendships with many sisters known previously in various mission countries.
