Today was another day without a full agenda. I spent most of the day working on a presentation about Cambodia to be given tomorrow, but also had time to go to lunch with two of the Bethany staff. My roommates both arrived, too. |
Today and tomorrow the candidates for the Maryknoll Lay Missioners are working with Fr. Ray Finch, a former superior general of the Maryknoll Priests and Brothers group, about a theology of mission. Here they are waiting for rides to take them over to the Maryknoll Sisters Center where they are having their sessions. |

Two of the lay missioners assigned to Cambodia are Maria Montello and Dee Dungy. |

At lunch time, Charlie went to a nice Italian restaurant with Jean Casadone and Richard Gatsjen who both work in the Development Department. |

About 3:00 AM this morning, Larry Parr, the regional coordinator of El Salvador, arrived at Bethany. He was very quiet because we are staying in the same apartment but I didn't hear him come in. This afternoon he was working on his laptop preparing his report for tomorrow's meetings. |
