Trip to Louisville

After the meetings in New York, and before heading to Asia, I worked in a short side trip to Louisville, Kentucky. On Saturday I flew in and got to see my brothers and sisters, and then on Sunday I spoke with a group of East End parishioners who are interested in mission.

On Saturday morning I took the trains from Maryknoll, NY to Manhattan and then the bus to LaGuardia Airport where I caught a flight to Washington, DC.  It was a nice clear day and I was able to get a good view of the White House and Washington Monument. White House and Washington Monument
From Washington I flew to Louisville and had this view of Lock and Dam 41 on the Ohio River there. Lock and Dam in Louisville
