The morning session today was a continuation of the discussion of finances and fund-raising for MKLM to keep us all in the field, a never-ending challenge, especially in today's economy.  In the afternoon we talked about MKLM's strategic plan.

The morning prayer was led by Joanne Miya, the regional coordinator from Tanzania who arranged an environment in the chapel centered on fabric and materials from Africa. African environment for prayer

Alicia Butkiewicz (left front) is the Director of Mission for MKLM but will be resigning in December after eight years in leadership during a very difficult period.  Tonight, the last night we would have together by ourselves, we all went to the Croton Diner to eat but also to show our appreciation to Alicia for her service.
