| Today was another work day at the Davis household. Then in the evening I arranged to pick up the car I will drive to Chicago tomorrow. |

| Mike had a day off from work today and helped his daughter Amy build a base for a dressmaking table she uses to create costumes for the Assumption High School plays. Mike is so good with his daughters, teaching them many of the skills he has as a really accomplished craftsman. |

| In the evening my cousin John Lippy came to my cousin Judith English's house where I moved today, to pick me up to go to his house to get one of his cars for the Chicago trip. John, in addition to being a graphic artist, is a wiz with cars and motorcycles. We took this Mercedes convertible to his house where I picked up his Toyota and drove it back to the English house. |
