| Today was the first full day to start on the list of things I want to do while in the United States and to start visiting people I want to see while I'm here. |

| In the morning I caught up on some paperwork and then went to my sister Ann's house which is being renovated. Today three of my nieces were taking up the old carpeting upstairs before the major work starts there. |

| From Ann's house I went to Nazareth Home to see Deacon Tom Ryan. Tom and I worked together for many years in the ministry to Catholic deaf people in the Archdiocese of Louisville. |

| In the evening Ellen English Benson and her husband Craig Benson prepared a wonderful meal for the three of us! It was a delicious meal and a delightful time to visit and catch up. |
