Today was a travel day, starting early in the morning at Little Rock, changing planes in Chicago, and ending in White Plains, New York. Each of the flights was about 1.5 hours and the layover at O'Hare was 1.5 hours and that wasn't so bad. Back at Maryknoll, New York at 3:00 PM, I had time to catch up some e-mail and other work. |

The Little Rock airport is conveniently close to the city center. From the terminal I could look toward the downtown and identify the steeple of the cathedral where I had been staying over the weekend. |
|
After I arrive at Chicago's O'Hare airport, most of my departures are on the small regional jets that operate out of Concourse F. |

White Plains airport, or Westchester County airport as it likes to call itself, is seriously hampered by its size which is far too small for the volume of traffic generated by the huge international corporations (e.g., IBM and Pepsi) which have their headquarters in Westchester County. |
