Today was my last full day in New York and I was running around trying to catch people and get a few things done. |
A first stop this morning was at Health Services to pick up a copy of the vaccinations I received on this trip (tetanus, Japanese encephalitis, pneumococcal, and meningococcal). The copy wasn't ready, though, so I arranged to pick it up the next morning. The photo of Charlie taken by Fr. Jack King was up now on the wall by Health Services. |

The next stop was at the Maryknoll post office. Maryknoll has such a volume of mail that they have their own post office and zip code (10545). |
|
Along the road to the post office is this marker noting the anniversary of the founding of the Archdiocese of Seoul. Maryknoll was much involved with the diocese throughout its history. |

In the afternoon and evening it was time to start packing up in preparation for a next day departure. This is the living room of the small apartment where Charlie stayed during his time at Maryknoll, New York. |
