Hong Kong Catholic Deaf Community
20 August 2007

After the large scale activities of the weekend, I spent today meeting people and buying some tools and materials to bring back to Cambodia. Some things are hard to get in Cambodia and some things are better quality and quite a bit cheaper in Hong Kong.
A wonderful family In the afternoon, I met with a wonderful family: Judy Wu, who was my language teacher and a volunteer with the Catholic deaf group in Hong Kong; her husband, Henry Wong, a nuclear physicist; and their son Dominique. They now live in Taiwan but were in Hong Kong to check on their aging parents.
