Travel to Kentucky

Jane Browne

While all the brothers and sisters were in town for the Christmas holidays, it was a good time for them to choose mementos from the family house to take home with them.  Here Jane Dittmeier Browne boxes up the good dishes for Dennis to take back to Florida.

Martha Reed

Martha Dittmeier Reed took the American flag from our father's funeral home to Cincinnati.

Olivia and Mark Reed and Paul Dittmeier

Kyle Dittmeier from Wisconsin has a birthday in early January but he never has a chance to celebrate with his cousins so this year we celebrated it early while everyone was in town for Christmas.  Olivia Reed and her father Mark talk with Paul Dittmeier, Kyle's father.

Guests at the birthday party

Quite a few friends and family were invited for the meal and party.  It has been a while since we had such a large gathering at Pewee.

Watching the U of Kentucky-U of Louisville game

This particular Saturday was the date for the U of Louisville-U of Kentucky basketball game which had special significance this year as UK was #1.  UL and UK fans in the front room were about evenly divided.

Opening the birthday gifts

Finally it was time for Kyle to open the birthday gifts he had received.
