Planning Day |
Luis Ahrens and Celina Campas were the main organizers for this planning day. Celina was sick so the job of facilitating the discussions fell to Luise.
The Cambodia Mission Team now has 21 members in a variety of projects. Planning days are essential to help the group maintain its vision and effectiveness. This year particular emphasis was put on making projects manageable while fufilling the commitments Maryknoll has made to the government and to the people Maryknoll serves.
This year the planning meeting was held at the Korean Diakonos Center, a facility run by a Korean Christian group. The center is very well equipped for meetings and has this open fifth floor for breaks and for catered meals. This was the morning coffee break.

At one point in the afternoon, the CMT met in four small groups to identify successes and failures of Maryknoll's work and also new opportunities that will present themselves.
The results of the discussions were posted on a board and were recorded and will become the basis for future discussions and planning.
