We had only one liturgy for Christmas, at 6:00 PM on Christmas Eve. Normally our liturgies are at 5:00 PM, but because 24 December was a regular work day here in Phnom Penh, we had to allow time for most people to get off from work. We didn't have the standing-room-only crowds that many churches have in other countries on Christmas Eve, but the chuch was full. In this photo, members of the Filipino choir are setting up a nativity scene. The wooden figures were brought from the Philippines. |
