The Catholic Church compound where we have the English mass is really the old seminary campus, one of the few Catholic structures that survived the Khmer Rouge. We use an old hall in the rear building. the French and Koreans use the small old seminary chapel, and the Khmer congregation uses a large hall in a front building. |

The eight o'clock Khmer mass was still going on when I arrived to set up the English mass. Because of large Christmas crowds, the mass was held before an outdoor stage on the church property and 1,000 chairs were put out. |

This is the hall in the rear building, on the second floor, where the English community meets on Sunday mornings. We more than doubled our numbers this week because of the large Christmas participation. This was the first time I presided at a liturgy in this hall since we finished renovating it. |

We bought this nativity set last year when we had to carry it from church to the other on Christmas weekend because we had only the one set. This year we bought another set so now we have one at each site. |
