Trip to Italy
and United States

June-July, 2008

7 July 2008 (Monday)
Day 20

Today I drove to Ohio, making three stops. First, I visited a classmate I have known since our high school days, then I went to my sister's house in Cincinnati, and then I met with a former Maryknoll lay missionary who is now back in Cincy. I ended up driving 420 miles, an expensive trip considering gas is about $4.18 in Kentucky and $4.03 in Ohio.

Dan Onley and Charlie Dittmeier Dan Onley has been a close friend since our high school days together at St. Thomas Seminary in Louisville. The last year or so he has been in poor physical condition in Ohio.
Kathy Kremer and Charlie Dittmeier Kathy Kremer is a school teacher from Cincinnati who worked in Cambodia as a Maryknoll Lay Missioner, serving children with intellectual disabilities. Now she is back in Ohio.
