Trip to Italy
and United States

June-July, 2008

5 July 2008 (Saturday)
Day 18

Dennis Dittmeier and Jane Browne In the morning Dennis and Charlie Dittmeier and our sister Jane Browne inspected renovation work being done by our brother Paul on the house owned by our sister Ann. It is quite an extensive project Paul has undertaken.

In the early afternoon, our sister Martha and her husband Mark Reed and their children arrived from Cincinnati.
The newest member of our family is Amanda Smith Browne, seated in the center, who married Adam Browne, the son of David and Jane Browne (standing). Adam is an Army lieutenant now serving in Iraq.
Downstairs three of the Cincinnati branch of the family took advantage of the Davis family's video games.
Upstairs the older young people had fun together also.
The family used this occasion to celebrate the birthdays of three of the family born in July.
Nothing special was planned for the day, just a lot of eating and talking in various groupings. We are lucky to have a family who really enjoy each other.
Some of the younger set found outdoor fun more to their liking.
The Dittmeier brothers and sisters The seven Dittmeier brothers and sisters now take advantage of every opportunity to be together to get a group photo. Seated, from left to right, are Ann Dittmeier, Martha Reed, and Paul Dittmeier. Standing are Mary Davis, Dennis Dittmeier, Jane Browne, and Charlie Dittmeier.  Our brother Raymond died four years ago.
