| Maryknoll has had a house in Rome for many years, to represent all its members at the Vatican and to serve as a house of studies for Maryknollers attending courses in Rome. It is located near Villa Borghese in a residential area of old Rome. |

      | The side and front of the Maryknoll house in the northern part of old Rome. | The house from the rear. Maryknoll has owned the house for a long time. | The front doors, once you have entered the courtyard from the street. |

      | A view from the interior courtyard, looking back toward the gate to the street. | The entrance hall, looking back toward the front doors. | The stairway leading upstairs from the entrance hallway. |

      | Looking down the entrance hallway from the front doors. | Another view toward the front doors, over the stairs leading to the dining area below. | One of rooms off that main hallway is this television room. |

      | The first-floor chapel. | Another view of the chapel. | The stairway to the second, third, and fourth floors. |

      | At the top of the main stairway at the third floor. | One of the long-term resident rooms where I stayed. Not all the rooms are this nice. | The rooms are well arranged and this one has its own bathroom. |

      | Each room has a sink. This one is separate from the bathroom which was added later. | The dining room, a pleasantly cool room below ground level. | The kitchen is modern and produces wonderful Italian food! |
