In the hotel lobby On the last day of their time in Rome, the Hong Kong deaf group prepared to check out of the hotel for a final day of touring the catacombs before the departure home.
Videoing the departure Fr. Lam, the chaplain of the Hong Kong Catholic deaf group, recorded a lot of the week's activities on video.
Gertrude Lee and Peggy Fung Gertrude Lee (left) and Peggy Fung are two really dynamic and dependable pastoral workers with the deaf and sign language interpreters. They are known as "volunteers" but that doesn't do justice to the service they have given the deaf community for many years. They were the organizers of this trip to Lourdes and Rome.

St. Praesede Church There are so many churches in the center of old Rome that it would be next to impossible to visit them all. Some are closed, some are only open on special occasions. This is St. Praesede, a small and relatively unknown church tucked away in a small side street.
