| My plane didn't leave Westchester County airport until 10:30 AM, but Mike Duggan (the priest celebrant for yesterday's mass) offered to drive me to the airport so I gratefully accepted. There was a huge line to go through security and that took about 45 minutes but finally I was on my way to Dulles International Airport in Washington, DC. |

I had a long wait at Dulles, about 6.5 hours, but I found an overflow waiting area where they had wall plugs and i was able to do a lot of work on the computer while I was waiting. I added more photos to a PowerPoint presentation that I brought along to give on a CD to the organizers of this trip. This picture is at the gate in Washington, as i waited for the flight to Rome to be called. |
