The Working Group on Weapons Reduction launched a new series of high school level materials today. The books, posters, stickers, resource guides will assist teachers in introducing themes of peace and non-violence into the government curriculum. The WGWR is mostly supported by the German government and the United Nations Department for Disarmament Affairs. Today's ceremony was attended by the German and United States ambassadors, and a very powerful speech was given by H.E. Koh Pheng, the Minister of Education.
